Bailey Becky-Sue Schwift (born July 4, 1991) is an American singer-songwriter and one of the world's leading country pop artists. She is also well-known for her songs, which are mostly about her private life, and have also received widespread media coverage in the process.

Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Schwift spent her childhood competing in beauty pageants and singing at the Westboro Baptist Church, and, at the age of 13, won a singing competition with her own original song "I Got Bush on My Mind", a song about her support for George W. Bush during the 2004 U.S. Presidential Election.

Seven years later, on her 21st birthday, she signed up with Cowbell Records and released an extended play, Little Miss Country (2012), which became a surprise hit among fans and critics, and even sparked a concert tour across the midwest, and a concert film of the same name.

Afterwards, she released her debut album, Ruby Slippers (2015), which became commercially successful thanks to singles such as "Brand New Face", "Dude, Where's My Prius", and "My Boy Friends", the latter of which she claims to have been inspired by having a promiscuous reputation during high school.

Then, in 2018, Schwift released her second and most recent album, the pop-focused B.S. 2018 (2018), yielded the hit singles "Break It Off", "Cold Shoulder", "Talk to The Hand Cos The Face Ain't Listening", "Never Have I Ever", and "Bang! (And The Dirt Is Gone)", and is currently her most commercially successful album, especially thanks to public endorsements from big brands such as Cillit Bang.

For her three albums and multiple hit singles, Schwift has received four Millennial Music Awards, three Mic Drop Awards and 25 Pre-Teen Choice Awards. She is also the recipient of several individual artist awards, including two Feminist of the Year Awards, and one Most Illegally Downloaded Music Artist of the Year Award.
